Lambda Literary Announces the Winners of the 2021 Lammy Awards for Best LGBTQ Children’s/Middle Grade Book and Best LGBTQ YA Book published last year… *drumroll…*

Congratulations to Kacen Callender for winning best LGBTQ Children’s/Middle Grade book for King and the Dragonflies and to Mike Curato for winning best LGBTQ Young Adult best book for the graphic novel Flamer!

As the Lambda Literary Foundation explains the awards, they were “created over 30 years ago to recognize the crucial role LGBTQ writers play in shaping the world, the Lammys celebrate the very best in LGBTQ literature.”
